Your challenge ​


As technical team leader, you are responsible for the development team of Callista who are in charge of all custom developments on the Odoo standard software. You know better than anyone how to make connections between the interests of the software developers and meeting deadlines. Your job is to work with your team to give direction, meet people's demands and achieve higher goals with the right, positive mindset that also takes into account the challenges of projects, the Odoo architecture and dependencies with partners or other third parties.

​As we mainly implement Odoo projects with Callista, we expect you to have a healthy, technical interest in this developer platform. Our goal is to realize more and bigger projects in order to be and remain a highly appreciated partner within Belgium and abroad. With sufficient basic knowledge of Odoo, your baggage from previous software projects and your vision as a people manager, you have everything to make your role as technical team leader a success.


  1. You will be in contact with driven, technical programmers/specialists who are bitten by quality and attach importance to targeted agreements such as code conventions, unit testing, professional server management and the like.
  2. ​You coordinate different insights and opinions and align the needs of the team during management meetings. Formulating a targeted plan of action to optimize needs contributes to a successful outcome.
  3. You guarantee the quality of the work delivered by adjusting the team where necessary, advising the team and setting priorities according to and to the expectation of both the client and our organization​.
  4. You communicate your technical insights or those of your team to colleagues including software analysts and project managers and other team leaders according to the needs at hand​.
  5. You manage internal, technical projects such as professionally managing the hosting to clients, the various tools we use and the network we use on a daily basis​.
  6. You conduct interviews with prospective programmers to evaluate their suitability to complete our team.

Profile


​Your goal is, to form a cohesive team of technical specialists who can work optimally and where both clients and team members can be proud of the results that are delivered.


  1. Preferably have a higher education Bachelor/Master Computer Science degree or equivalent through experience.​
  2. You have a strong interest in technical solutions and have experience about how a software project is implemented.  
  3. You are flexible, structured and like a plan -and process-based project approach that results in an achievable outcome.​
  4. You listen to feedback from colleagues and team members and know how to motivate them to achieve goals.​
  5. You are results-oriented and ensure that bottlenecks are not given a chance.​
  6. Your proactive communication skills and tactful diplomacy lead to avoiding problems and ambiguities.
